October — December • Multi-Day Expeditions
Monsoon Coast Safaris
When the build-up rolls in and the crowds thin out, the two vessels come together. Live aboard the Cape Adieu. Fish off the Salty Brumby. Remote reefs, creek systems, and coastline that most people will never see.
The Expedition
See the Unseen
The Monsoon Coast safaris are what happens when you combine the Cape Adieu with a purpose-built fishing tender and point them at some of the most remote coastline in Australia. Live aboard the Cape Adieu — proper beds, hot showers, the chef cooking your catch each evening.
Fish off the Salty Brumby each day — island hopping, creek running, reef fishing, whatever the conditions serve up. These trips run 3–7 days, with groups of 4–10. Each one is different because the water, the weather, and the fish dictate the itinerary.

Built Around You
Your Trip, Your Way
Safaris run a minimum of four nights, but no two are the same. Every package is fully tailored to your group — how long you want to be out, where you want to go, and what you want to chase. Get yourself to Darwin and we'll take care of the rest. We will have the boat waiting, and can fly you or drive you out to it.
Keen to run the remote islands of Arnhem Land, or push west to the Kimberley coast? We'll plan the route around the tides and the season. Tell us what you're after and we'll shape the trip to suit.
Life Aboard
Out There, Looked After
Remote doesn't have to mean rough. You're living aboard a 70-foot mothership with a fishing tender at your side and a crew handling everything — so all you've got to think about is the next session.

How It Works
Getting You Out There
1 · Tell Us the Plan
Your group size, how many nights, and what you want to chase. We shape a route around the tides and the season — Arnhem Land islands, the Monsoon Coast, or further afield.
2 · Get to Darwin
Make your way to Darwin and we take it from there. The boat will be waiting, and we can fly you or drive you out to meet her wherever she's anchored.
3 · We Do the Rest
Crew, chef, fishing tender, gear and itinerary all sorted. You fish, eat well, and sleep aboard — the logistics are our problem, not yours.

Monsoon Coast Safari FAQs
How long are the safaris and how many people?
Trips run a minimum of four nights and typically 3–7 days, for groups of 4–10. Every safari is fully tailored, so the length and route are built around your group and what you want to do.
What's included?
Living aboard the Cape Adieu — beds, showers and meals with the chef cooking your catch — plus daily fishing off the Salty Brumby with gear, and the full itinerary planned and crewed. Pricing is tailored to the trip, so get in touch or request the compendium for a quote.
Where do you go?
The remote reaches of the Top End — the islands and coast of Arnhem Land, the Monsoon Coast, and further afield by arrangement. We plan the route around the tides and the season to put you on the best water.
What will we catch?
It depends where we run, but expect barramundi and jacks in the creeks, golden snapper, jewfish, coral trout and reef species offshore, and sportfish like queenfish, trevally and the odd billfish on the troll. Remote country means less-pressured fish.
Do I need fishing experience?
No. The crew look after rigging and coaching, and the days are paced to suit your group. Experienced anglers get pointed at the better fish; first-timers are well looked after.
When do they run and how do I book?
Safaris run from October through to December, when the build-up rolls in and the crowds thin out. They book out early — request the compendium or get in touch to start planning a date.
